Pennant supporting Aeroskills Schools programme

The recent signing of the MOU between Pennant and RDA Hunter, taking the Aviation Skills Foundation Charter overseas, has already proven successful in the dedication to help increase the training resources, experience and knowledge for those focused on a career in aviation.

The Aeroskills Cert II (TAFE NSW delivered) program in Hunter schools, as part of the Higher Secondary Certificate, is an excellent example of this successful partnership. Currently being delivered at three facilities, to fifty students, the program includes the use of the practical hand skills trainer, the GenSkill.

Alongside in-school training, the students will rotate through a 35-hour work placement with industry partners, helping provide skills to those interested in defence, aerospace and aviation careers.

Pennant and Aviation Skills Foundation are delighted to support the current program and look forward to the exciting development of training across New South Wales and the rest of Australia.
