2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition

Pennant Australasia attended the 2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition as part of the Victorian Government/ AIDN stand at Avalon.

Avalon 2011 celebrated several military and commercial aviation milestones.  The Royal Australia Air Force, one of the oldest independent air forces in the world celebrated its 90th Anniversary at Avalon.  The 2011 Airshow also marked a major milestone in the event’s history.  It was the tenth event staged at Avalon Airport since the first airshow was held at the venue in 1992.  This also marked the 10th Anniversary of Pennant Australasia

Avalon opened many doors for the Australasian Software Services division as well as possibilities for the Training Systems division.  The Airshow ran from 1st March to 6th March and provided a steady flow of Defence personnel, industry and public visitors.
